अर्जुन म्हणाला

माझ्यावर कृपा करून | केलेस तू कथन || गूढ अध्यात्मज्ञान | त्याने मोह दूर झाला || अ.११, ओ.१||

विस्ताराने केले कथनास | भूतांच्या उत्पत्ती तसेच लयास  || आणि तुझ्या अव्यय माहात्म्यास | हे कमलपत्राक्षा || अ.११, ओ.२||

परमेश्वरा, तू जसे वर्णिले स्वत:स | तसाच मला दिसतोस || परंतु तुझ्या ऐश्वर रूपास | पाहण्या मी इच्छितो  || अ. ११, ओ.३||

प्रभो, तुझे रूप पाहण्याला | जर वाटतो मी योग्य तुला || तर तुझे अव्यय रूप मला | दाखवावे योगेश्वरा || अ. ११, ओ. ४ ||

श्रीभगवान म्हणाले

शेकड्यांत आणि सहस्रांत | नानाविध प्रकारांत ||नानाविध रंगांत आणि आकारांत | पार्था, माझी दिव्य रूपे पहा || अ.१, ओ.५||

आदित्यांना, वसूंना, रुद्रांना | अश्विनीकुमारांना आणि मरुद्गणांना || तसेच पूर्वी न पाहिलेल्या आश्चर्यांना | पाहून घे भारता || अ.१, ओ.६||

गुडाकेशा, देहात माझ्या | पहा चराचर जगास साऱ्या || इच्छितोस आणखी जे पाहण्या | तेही घे पाहून || अ.१, ओ.७ ||

चक्षूंनी स्वत:च्या | समर्थ नाहीस तू पाहण्या ||माझा ऐश्वर योग पाहण्या | दिव्य चक्षू देतो तुला || अ.१, ओ.८||

संजय म्हणाला 

हे राजा, तेव्हा असे बोलुनी | महायोगेश्वर हरींनी ||पार्थास दिले दाखवुनी | परम ऐश्वर रूप || अ.११, ओ.९||

अनेक मुखे, अनेक नयनांनी युक्त | अनेक दर्शनांनी युक्त || अनेक आभरणांनी अलंकृत | अनेक दिव्य आयुधांनी सिद्ध- || अ.११, ओ.१०||

-दिव्य माळा आणि वस्त्रांनी युक्त | लावून उटणे दिव्य सुगंधित || देव आश्चर्यकारक अत्यंत | अनंत विश्वव्यापक || अ.११, ओ. ११||

प्रकटता सहस्र सूर्य आकाशात | जे तेज दिसून येत || तशा तेजाने तळपत | होता तो महात्मा || अ.११, ओ.१२||

तेव्हा पांडवाने पाहिले सारे जगत | जे विभागले अनेक भागात || त्या देवांच्या देवाच्या शरीरात | एकाच ठिकाणी || अ.११, ओ.१३||

तेव्हा धनंजय होऊन विस्मित | आणि रोमांचित ||बोलला जोडून हात | नमवून शिरास || अ.११, ओ.१४||

अर्जुन म्हणाला 

सर्व देवांचे आणि भूतांचे | कमलासनस्थ ब्रह्मदेवाचे || ऋषींचे आणि दिव्य नागांचे | देवा, तुझ्या देहात दर्शन होते || अ.११, ओ.१५||

अनेक नेत्र, मुखे, उदर आणि हात | दिसतात तुझ्या सर्वव्यापी अनंत रूपात || परी दिसे न तुझा आदि, मध्य किंवा अंत | हे विश्वेश्वरा, विश्वरूपा || अ. ११, ओ.१६||

किरीट, गदा आणि चक्र धारण करणारा |दीप्तिमान, तेजाने तळपणारा || प्रज्वलित अग्नी किंवा सूर्यासम प्रकाशणारा | तुला पाहणे कठीण || अ.११, ओ.१७ ||

तू अक्षर, श्रेष्ठ, योग्य जाणण्यास | तू श्रेष्ठ आधार या विश्वास || तू अव्यय, रक्षितोस शाश्वत धर्मास | तू सनातन पुरुष मला वाटतोस || अ. ११, ओ. १८ ||

आदि, मध्य आणि अंत नसणारा | अनंतवीर्य, अनंतबाहू, चंद्रसूर्य हेच नेत्र असणारा | प्रदीप्त अग्नीने युक्त मुख असणारा | स्वतेजाने या विश्वास तप्त करणारा दिसतोस || अ.११, ओ.१९||

व्यापलेस अंतर आकाश आणि पृथ्वीमधील | तू व्यापिल्यास दिशा सकल || महात्म्या, त्रैलोक्य झाले व्याकुल | अद्भुत, उग्र रूप तुझे पाहून || अ.११, ओ.२०||

सुरसंघ तुझ्यात प्रवेश करती | काही भीतीने हात जोडून स्तवन करती || महर्षी आणि सिद्ध 'स्वस्ति' म्हणती | आणि करती स्तुती तुझी || अ.११, ओ.२१||

रुद्र, वसू आणि भास्कर | विश्वेदेव, अश्विनीकुमार, मरुद्गण आणि पितर || गंधर्व, यक्ष, सिद्ध आणि असुर | विस्मयाने पाहती तुला || अ.११, ओ. २२||

हे महाबाहो, रूप तुझे विशाल | ज्यास आहेत मुखे, नेत्र, बाहू, मांड्या आणि पाय पुष्कळ | अनेक उदर आणि दाढांमुळे जे दिसते कराल | पाहून लोक आणि मीही झालो व्याकुळ || अ. ११, ओ. २३||

तू नभास स्पर्शतोस, तुझे तेजस्वी वर्ण बहुत | तू वासलेस मुख, तुझे विशाल नेत्र प्रदीप्त || तुला पाहून अंतरी झालो व्यथित | हे विष्णो, मला न धैर्य, न शांती || अ.११, ओ.२४||

कालाग्नीच्या समान | कराल दाढा असलेली तुमची मुखे पाहून || न वाटते सुरक्षित, न राहिले दिशांचे भान | देवेशा, जगन्निवासा, प्रसन्न हो || अ.११, ओ.२५ ||

हे धृतराष्ट्राचे सुत | साऱ्या राजांच्या सहित | भीष्म, द्रोण, सूतपुत्र उपस्थित | आणि आमचेही मुख्य योद्धे- || अ. ११, ओ.२६ ||

-भयानक कराल दाढांनी युक्त | तुमच्या मुखांत त्वरेने शिरतात | काहींची मस्तके अडकून दाढांत | चुराडा झालेली दिसती || अ . ११, ओ. २७||

जसे नदीचे प्रवाह वेगात | समुद्राच्या दिशेने वाहतात || तसे हे नरवीर होऊन प्रज्वलित | तुझ्या मुखांत प्रवेश करतात || अ.११, ओ.२८|| 

जसे पतंग वेगात | नाश पावण्या शिरतात प्रदीप्त अग्नीत || तसे लोक तुझ्या मुखांत वेगात शिरतात | नाश पावण्या || अ.११, ओ.२९||

तुझ्या जळत्या मुखांनी | सर्व लोकांस गिळत आहेस चाटुनी || विष्णो, तुझे तेज सारे जग व्यापुनी | उग्र किरण जगास ताप देती || अ. ११, ओ. ३०||

उग्ररूप आपण कोण ते करावे कथन | देववरा, प्रसन्न व्हा, मी करतो नमन || तुम्हास जाणू इच्छितो, तुम्ही आदिकारण | प्रवृत्त कशास मी न जाणतो || अ.११, ओ.३१||

श्रीभगवान म्हणाले

लोकांचा क्षय करणारा मी काळ थोर | प्रवृत्त आहे करण्या लोकांचा संहार || नाश पावतील हे सारे वीर | केवळ तुझ्याशिवाय || अ.११, ओ.३२||

तेव्हा ऊठ, मिळव यशास | समृद्ध राज्य उपभोग, जिंकून शत्रूंस || मीच मारले पूर्वी या सर्वांस | हे सव्यसाची, तू निमित्तमात्र हो || अ.११, ओ.३३||

द्रोण, भीष्म आणि जयद्रथ यांस | कर्ण तसेच अन्य वीरांस || मी मारले आहे, तू व्यथित न होता मार त्यांस | शत्रूंवर विजय मिळवशील || अ.११, ओ.३४||

संजय म्हणाला 

केशवाचे हे वचन ऐकून | हात जोडलेला, थरथर कापणारा अर्जुन || अत्यंत भ्यालेला, सद्गदित होऊन | कृष्णास असे बोलला || अ. ११, ओ. ३५ ||

अर्जुन म्हणाला

हृषीकेशा, ऐकून तुझ्या कीर्तीस | आनंद होतो साऱ्या जगास || राक्षस भिऊन धावती सर्व दिशांस | सारे सिद्ध नमन करती || अ. ११, ओ. ३६ ||

का करू नये त्यांनी नमन तुम्हास | ब्रह्मदेवाहून श्रेष्ठ आदिकर्त्यास || तुम्ही अनंत, देवेश, जगन्निवास | अक्षर, सत् आणि असत् च्या पलीकडे || अ.११, ओ.३७||

तुम्ही पुराणपुरुष, देव आद्य | या विश्वास परम आश्रय || जाणते आणि जाणण्यास योग्य | व्यापिले विश्व अनंतरूपाने || अ.११, ओ.३८||

तुम्ही वायू, यम, अग्नी, शशांक आणि वरुण | तुम्ही प्रजापती, पितामह महान || तुम्हास सहस्रवार नमन | पुन्हा पुन्हा नमस्कार असो || अ.११, ओ.३९||

नमस्कार तुला पुढून आणि पाठून | सर्व बाजूंनी तुला नमन || अनंतवीर्य आणि अमितविक्रम असे तुझे महिमान | व्यापतोस सर्व म्हणून सर्व तूच || अ. ११, ओ.४०||

अनादराने जे बोललो तुला मित्र मानून | `हे कृष्णा, हे यादवा, हे मित्रा' असे केले संबोधन ||तुझा महिमा न जाणून | मी तुला चुकीने किंवा प्रेमाने || अ.११, ओ.४१||

अपमान केला तुझा थट्टामस्करीत | असता फिरत, निजत, बसत किंवा भोजन करीत || अच्युता, तुझ्यासमोर किंवा एकांतात | त्या सर्वांची मला क्षमा कर || अ. ११, ओ.४२||

तू पिता या चराचराचा | आहेस श्रेष्ठ गुरू त्याचा ||त्रैलोक्यात नाही कुणी तुझ्या बरोबरीचा  | मग श्रेष्ठ कसा असेल || अ.११, ओ. ४३||

तेव्हा करून साष्टांग नमन | पूजनीय तुम्हास प्रार्थितो,  ‘होऊन प्रसन्न || करावे माझे अपराध सहन | जसे पित्याने पुत्राचे, मित्राने मित्राचे आणि प्रियकराने प्रियेचे’ || अ.११, ओ.४४||

पूर्वी न पाहिलेले तुझे रूप पाहून | झालो आनंदित तरी व्यथित आहे माझे मन || तेव्हा तुझ्या नेहमीच्या रूपात दे दर्शन | देवेशा, जगन्निवासा, प्रसन्न होऊन || अ.११, ओ.४५||

किरीट, गदा आणि चक्र धारण केलेल्या | तुझ्या रूपास इच्छितो पाहण्या || दर्शन दे चतुर्भुज रूपातच त्या | हे सहस्रबाहो, विश्वमूर्ते || अ. ११, ओ. ४६||

श्रीभगवान म्हणाले

अर्जुना, मी प्रसन्न  होऊन | आत्मयोगाने दिले माझ्या परम रूपाचे दर्शन || पूर्वी कुणी न पाहिले तुझ्यावाचून | हे तेजोमय अनंत आद्य विश्व || अ. ११, ओ. ४७||

न वेदयज्ञाने, न अध्ययनाने, न दानाने | न क्रियाकर्माने, न उग्र तपाने || मनुष्यलोकात अन्य कुणाला हे रूप पाहणे | शक्य नाही कुरुप्रवीरा || अ.११, ओ.४८||

माझे असे घोर रूप पाहून | नको  होऊस व्यथित किंवा भ्रांतमन || पहा प्रसन्न चित्ताने भयमुक्त होऊन | पूर्वीचेच माझे रूप || अ.११, ओ.४९||

संजय म्हणाला

असे बोलून अर्जुनास | भ्यालेल्या त्यास || दाखवून स्वत:च्या पूर्वीच्या सौम्य रूपास | वासुदेवाने आश्वासित केले || अ.११, ओ.५०||

अर्जुन म्हणाला 

जनार्दना, तुझ्या | सौम्य मानवी रूपास पाहुनिया || पूर्वस्थितीस येऊनिया | माझे मन स्थिर झाले || अ.११, ओ.५१||

श्रीभगवान म्हणाले 

माझ्या ज्या रूपास | आता तू पाहिलेस || इच्छा असते देवांस | रूप ते पाहण्याची || अ.११, ओ.५२||

न वेदाभ्यासाने, न तपाने | न दानाने, न यज्ञाने ||शक्य आहे माझे हे रूप पाहणे | जे पाहिलेस तू || अ.११, ओ.५३||

परंतपा, याप्रमाणे | शक्य आहे मला पाहणे ||जाणणे आणि तत्त्वतः माझ्यात प्रवेश करणे | केवळ अनन्य भक्तीने || अ. ११, ओ. ५४||

मला परमश्रेष्ठ मानणारा माझा भक्त | जो कर्मे माझ्यासाठी करतो, आहे सर्वसंगपरित्यक्त ||वैरहीन आहे सर्व भूतांप्रत | तो मलाच मिळतो पांडवा || अ.११, ओ.५५||

असा हा श्रीमद्भगवद्गीता या उपनिषदातील ब्रह्मविद्यांतर्गत योगशास्त्रामधील श्रीकृष्ण आणि अर्जुन यांच्या संवादातील ‘विश्वरूपदर्शनयोग ’ नावाचा अकरावा अध्याय पूर्ण झाला

Our Earth and Us

We have been reading and hearing a lot about climate change, environmental protection, etc. lately. Protecting the environment is the responsibility of all of us and it is very important for us all to work together for this. But have you ever wondered how to explain this to children?

Then here is Mr. Paritosh Tirodkar to help you with his new book. Its name is 'The world is melting-how to talk to kids about climate change'. Let's see what the author says.

1. What does your kid think about the climate change?

Your kid is an observant person. He notices changes in the weather and asks questions like, "Why has it been so hot lately? How come it hasn't rained yet?"

2. Explain climate change in simple terms

Your kid is asking a question, which means he is thinking about the topic.

So first of all, listen to his question carefully. This will help you understand what he is trying to say.

Your kid does not need to know the entire science of climate change. Explain it to your kid according to his age.

If your child is 3-6 years old, explain it to him through interesting stories.

If your child is 7-10 years old, he knows a lot. Explain to him what is causing climate change.

For a child aged 11-14, you can go into more depth on this topic and explain how climate change is affecting the world.

Explain climate change not as a crisis, but as a cause of concern. Your answer does not need to be perfect. Do not over-explain or give scary statistics.

Don't scare your child away. Avoid answers like 'It's all finished now. Nobody can do anything.   You can  say, 'Many people are working to find a way out of this situation. We can also work.'

Encourage your kid to ask more questions.

Now, if your kid asks you what we can do to protect the environment, you can suggest simple solutions.

3. Eco-friendly habits

It is important to inculcate good habits at home because kids imitate what they see. Simple habits like turning off the tap while brushing their teeth, turning off the lights when leaving the room can make a big impact.

If you give your kid more respect, like, 'From today you are the light checker, you are the water manager', then he will be even more motivated. You can implement some activities at home, like,  eco-friendly Sunday, garbage-free Tuesday. This will create an eco-friendly atmosphere at home.

We have many festivals like Holi, Ganeshotsav, Diwali. On the occasion of such festivals, use eco-friendly colors, Ganesh idols, etc. 

Reduce food waste, start a compost bin, turn off lights, fans, and appliances when not in use.

You can teach your kid things like nature journaling, emotion cards, etc., based on his interests.

Preaching, nagging, or guilt-tripping rarely brings about change. Instead, model your behavior. So when your kid observes you reusing old bags or choosing local, plant-based food, he will look to you as a role model and try to do the same.

4. Respect for Nature and Animals

When your kid enjoys observing a flower without picking it or helps a stray animal without being afraid, give him a pat on the back.

5. Bigger Problems

Problems like pollution, deforestation are bigger. So if your kid asks about them, keep your explanation simple. Convince him that there is a solution to these too.

6. Teach your kid to trust the environment even in a busy, digital world

How is it possible to teach your kid to trust the environment in today's fast-paced, noisy, screen-filled world? You can try this. Use the digital media to gain knowledge about the environment. For example, when you are in the car, you can listen to podcasts about the environment or chat about the environment. You can watch documentaries on the topic of the environment, play games.

7. Use media like stories, movies, and their heroes 

Kids love hero worship. They live their lives believing themselves to be heroes. Now many such climate heroes or warriors have been popularized through comics and movies. There are many movies on the subject of environment. So let kids read such literature or watch such movies.

 8. The importance of school, friends, and community

Your kid's world doesn't stop at home. It extends to school hallways, playgrounds, birthday parties, and WhatsApp groups. You can promote green projects in schools. You can arrange get-togethers with other friends to promote eco-friendly ideas. Keep birthday parties in a way that produces minimal waste.

9. My kid is not listening, what should I do?

If you feel that your kid is not listening to you, you need to establish more emotional connection with him. You should spend more time with your kid. Praise him for the things he is doing, so that he will be encouraged to do more.

10. Climate Optimism:

Climate optimism is the belief that even though things are serious, people can and are making a difference. Teach kids that they too can make a difference. So, highlight to kids what is effective, such as increased use of solar energy for energy needs, awareness about planting trees.

11. Protecting the Earth:

From all this discussion, you must have realized that protecting the Earth is everyone's responsibility and just saving the Earth from disasters is not enough. It does not require perfect effort to fulfill this responsibility. Even imperfect efforts can have their effect. Let your kid know that what he is doing to protect the Earth is a lot. Your kid is making a difference in the Earth, shaping the Earth - with love and hope. This is all the Earth expects from us.
